4Th of July fireworks are... Yes, beautiful to see, but the hearing of the dog is more acute as a human. Some animals become nervous and try to flee the sound and dog walking during all night fireworks may frighten your dog. Be alert to sensitive ears of your dog and keep it inside the House so that he feels safe.

Water safety... now that the pools are open, do not leave your pet alone near a swimming pool; not all dogs are good swimmers. Make sure you wash your dog outside when he swims in a chlorinated pool and not try to make him drink the water of the pool because it has harmful chemicals that can disturb your upside down!
