Fundraising and training to guide a dog is a labor of love, resulting in someone gaining a partner of confidence that help them lead a more fulfilling life. They need years for a dog to be ready for this difficult work non-stop, and since 1992 Eric and Sharon Loori have done hundreds of times throughout your organization "Freedom guide dogs".
Eric says that it could not have started the organization without the inspiration of right and the right partner.
"First off is my faith in God," said Loori, the Executive Director and co-founder of the dogs Guide to freedom. "It is said that here so that keeps me going and keeps me strong." Sometimes gets a little hairy. "The strength of my wife who is my partner is deep and without it which could have made this."
"Freedom guide dogs" has provided nearly 300 dogs trained Guide to people who need them at no cost as they opened. Recently have also provided dogs Guide for soldiers who have returned from Middle East blind in service to his country.
This non-profit organisation is supported by donations and grants and has dogs working in the Northeast as well as Florida.
