Pet toys travel: Road Trip Edition

If pets are like my dogs, they get very excited when they get to go for a walk. They open the door of the car and go directly to without any question, tails wagging happily and smiles on their faces. But if we are heading to a journey that will last more than one hour, I inevitably get the whines are "there yet?" and moans and gasps. I realized that he needed to find something to keep them occupied and more comfortable when we're ramming roads.

So if the story of my dogs is family or pets aren't road warriors from the get-go, here are some great toys that along with you on your next car ride to keep boredom at Bay and pet more enjoyable trip:

Chew bones: If your dogs gravitate towards chew bones at home, bring some with you on your trip provides a sensation of comfort (as well as give them something to do). There are a lot of large bones to choose, especially Nylabone. Some are strictly for play and other groceries. If your dog there is no carsick, a bone of foodstuff that has to work at a time can be a nice distraction (to it) and delicious yummy (for him).

Strings: Do you have more than one furbaby? Something that the two can play together with (depending on if are in a car or a moderation) are some toys of rope. Rope toys are better way than just boring old rope. You can get in the form of animals, you can get with chew dental at both ends and you can even get rope rings! Time does not pass on a journey by road as some Strip and tug of war.

Kongs: Kongs have existed for some time but they have really grown in popularity and are the hot toys "on the block" - are a great success among the multitude of fours (dogs and cats, also!). There are dozens of different types of Kongs, but the classic Kong will really do the trick in the car. Dogs love chewy red outside and the advantage is the environment where they can hide some tasty treats. What dog does not want a toy chew that also dispenses food? And a pro Tip: put the Kong natural peanut butter and immobilize her unless you are ready to leave. This will provide hours of enjoyment in the car as she works her frozen Kong.

Cat toys: we have been giving much love our canine friends, but what about our beloved cats? Although a little more cats could move while you are on a carrier (versus turned in seat without an operator restrictions such as dogs), still can play with some fun toys there. There are a lot of toys from funky to bat around cat ball and come stuffed with pumpkin. Some cats may like their toys in the form of a mouse. Others would like the convenience of a plush toy. Toys like this can provide something that cats can divert its attention on the long drive and calm them if tend to get stressed.

Most of us enjoy a good time road trip and is more fun when pets. But it is important to make sure that you're having as good a time as we are. That over a few toys to keep them occupied and help to feel less anxiety-ridden help pass the time and make traveling with your pet, a real pleasure. You never know - a pet does not usually rides in car might be more inclined to jump in the car at the site of a pleasure to play with. It works for my dogs!
