Professional Dog Training | Disaster Relief For Pets Missouri

Three local businesses are collecting donations to support relief efforts tornado in Missouri. Ciao! Bow Wow, the pet supplies retailer North Andover, River Road Veterinary Hospital Andover, and beyond the belt, a professional dog training in Boxford, are reaching out to interested citizens? And lovers pets to help disaster victims.

Donations of used blankets, sheets, towels, blankets and quilts, and the money will be sent to the Humane Society of Missouri protective equipment, which operates an animal shelter on the Missouri Southern State University (MSSU).

"Our hearts are with the victims of this disaster tornado," said Melanie LaRocca, owner of Ciao! Bow Wow. "This animal shelter in the MSSU enables displaced families to bring their pets with them. This should be a great convenience to both people and pets in terrible circumstances. Our customers in Massachusetts has a big heart and wants to help ".

"People are staying in the shelter MSSU will be able to place their pets in the animal facilities on campus," said Dr. Tracie Fountas River Road Veterinary Hospital. "The shelter needs monetary donations in the first place. Donations of bedding are also very important to a veterinary hospital and shelter. Your donations will be used and appreciated."

Scott Williams, Beyond Boxford belt is a professional dog trainer and knows first hand the efforts, needs and costs associated with a disaster relief project. "We are excited to help this unity of the community support," he said.

At this time, monetary donations are encouraged. Persons wishing to make donations to help animal rescue efforts can make a check payable to Humane Society of Missouri.

Bedding donations are also collected and sent to MSSU animal shelter.
